Octane Capital hires a Chief Financial Officer

Octane Capital has hired Benjamin Donelien as CFO of its treasury team.

The ‘third generation’ transition and buy-to-let lender hired Donelien from London-based CKH Innovations Opportunities Development, where he was also chief financial officer. He is a fully qualified Chartered Management Accountant and will report to Rob Graham, Octane’s Chief Financial Officer.

Donelien’s role will be to support Graham with all financial accounting and operational reporting for Octane’s ever-expanding loan portfolio.

He will also work closely with the credit team to further streamline processes as the lender seeks to grow market share.

Octane Capital Managing Director Jonathan Samuels said, “Rob and Benjamin’s combined experience in modeling and analytics will be critical in giving us the insights we need as we grow and develop. we are moving towards our second billion loans. Benjamin’s help in evolving and adapting our processes will stand us in good stead as we aim for our next phase of growth.
