Horizon Technology Finance Corporation Announces Common Share Offering
FARMINGTON, Conn., March 9, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Horizon Technology Finance Corporation (Nasdaq: HRZN) (the “Company” or “Horizon”) today announced a proposed primary offering of 2,500,000 shares of common stock. In connection with the proposed offer, the Company intends to grant the underwriters of the offer a 30-day option to purchase up to 375,000 additional common shares of the Company.
The joint lead managers of the offering are Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC and UBS Securities LLC, and the joint lead manager is Oppenheimer & Co. LLC.
The Company intends to use the net proceeds of this offering to repay its outstanding indebtedness borrowed under its revolving credit facility provided by KeyBank National Association (the “Key Facility”). However, by re-borrowing the initial repayments under its key facility, the Company intends to use the net proceeds of this offering to make investments in accordance with its investment objective and strategies described in the Prospectus Supplement and accompanying prospectus, to pay operating expenses and other cash obligations of the company, and for general corporate purposes.
