We are looking for an Assistant Chief Financial Officer to join the Trust during this exciting time of growth. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is either a qualified or partially qualified accountant (and nearing completion), willing to pursue further professional development and has a strong financial and technical background. Reporting to the Regional Finance Manager, you will provide support to the Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire area academies. Stoke Academy will be your base with regular trips to our main area academies.

Purpose of the role:

To provide support to the financial function of the academies in the Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire area. Assist in all aspects of the development and effective operation of financial systems and procedures. Oversee the establishment and monitoring of core academy budgets, departmental budgets, costing activities and the development of budget profiles and provide cash flow management support as required in the all the academies.

This will involve working with a growing number of academies in the Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire area.
