CAP Plc appoints Portland Paints CFO Ada Aniagu as CFO
The Board of Directors of Chemical Allied Products Plc has announced the appointment of Portland Paints Chief Financial Officer, Ada Aniagu, as the company’s Financial Controller effective February 20, 2021.
According to the information contained in the statement published by CAP, Aniagu will assume all the responsibilities and obligations of the former Chief Financial Officer.

On the incoming CFO
According to information on the Portland Paints website;
- The new Chief Financial Officer of CAP Plc, Ms Aniagu is a seasoned finance professional with over 11 years of extensive corporate experience covering internal and external audits, taxation, management and accounting and financial reporting, as well as budget planning and control and project management.
- She joined the UAC Group in 2019, as CFO for UPDC Hotels Limited (UHL). Prior to UHL, she was Financial Controller for Transcorp Hotels Calabar Limited for over 6 years, providing strategic leadership and championing the repositioning of the hotel’s finances towards profitability.
- Ada, who is an active member of the Association of Chartered Chartered Accountants (ACCA), holds a Second Class Upper Degree in English and Literary Studies from the University of Nigeria Nsukka, a Higher Diploma in Accountancy and in business and is currently completing an MBA program with Edinburgh Business School, UK.

Additionally, the company announced the resignation of Abiola Odeyemi, as Chief Financial Officer.
